The Debate and Forum will be canceled on Friday July 18th.  Volunteers and debate panel participants that we expected will not be able to come.  For that reason, we are forced to cancel the Debate and Forum.  Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused to anyone.  Team and Volunteer Check-In is still scheduled and will take place at Best Western Shetland Inn and Suites.  Please go to the Events page for the updated information.

The Girl's Volleyball Tournament will also be canceled because there were no teams that registered.  We tried to incorporate girls into the events but it can't work unless we have participation.  We will try again some other time.

In this day and age, we seem to be going in all the different directions that life takes us. Living in a fast paced world, we sometimes forget our roots and origins. The Bhakta youth will commit to preserving educational and moral values, encouraging a healthy living style, and upholding cultural traditions for generations as well as practicing them on a daily basis. We promise to unite and educate the Bhakta youth of the nation, through various events and activities.

Bhakta Youth Committee of Texas is currently in talks to host a couple of Bhakta Youth Events in San Antonio, TX sometime in early July 2008. The events are going to be mainly for Texas and the surrounding states and will accommodate the ages of 25 and under.
The list of events goes as follows:

- Bhakta Youth Basketball Tournament
- Cultural Dinner Social for all individuals.

More information will be coming soon. Keep tuning in for current news.
